PAYMENT

Baby and Child welcomes payment by most major credit or debit cards.  Payment by PayPal is accepted online, at our website only.

In store you can place an order with a 50% deposit. There is no interest to pay and you can make payments when suits you. The balance must be paid in full on collection of your order from store. We also accept payments from friends and family.

For sale or clearance items payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

Any deposit paid to secure an order shall be paid to, and held by, our parent company Falcar Limited. Falcar Limited shall retain any such payments made until your order has been collected or delivered to you.

If Baby and Child  is unable to fulfill your order we will notify you and Falcar Limited shall refund the amount paid by you, within 14 days of its notification, to your original method of payment (i.e. credit card, debit card, PayPal, gift card or to a combination of payment methods as applicable).

Cheque – ID verification must be presented against any cheque payment.  The company reserve the right not to accept cheque payment at any time.  Should a Limited Company wishes to pay by Cheque threw a third party a letter from the Company director should be provided along with the third party ID card Number.

DELIVERY

For your convenience we offer a variety of delivery options.

FREE DELIVERY

The free delivery service consists of curbside delivery of your item(s) to the curb at the end of your driveway or in front of your doorstep.  If parking in front of your driveway or doorstep is not available, the goods will be delivered to the closest curbside.

This service does not include setup or assembly of items or removal of packaging materials.

The free-delivery service does not cover Gozo, Valletta, and Mdina ( The client must hire a third party transport company). 

Free delivery does not apply on Cash and Carry offers nor on Sales items product.  An additional charge might be charged to certain offers.

The free delivery does not cover assembly, hiring of lifter or local council permits (additional charges apply)

All furniture is delivered flat packed unless notified accordingly.

An assistant deliveryman may be hired to help the deliveryman get the goods inside your home (at ground floor level only, less than 15 steps up or down, less than 100 meters away from where the van is parked) at additional charge of €20.00

Items that weight more than 50 kilo’s per box carry a charge of €20.00 per delivery.  An assistant delivery man will be sent to help.  In this case the delivery will be to ground floor level only, less than 15 steps up or down, less than 100 meters away from where the van is parked) .

PRICES

The price of your product is that applicable at the time of purchase. Prices are inclusive of vat at the rate applicable at the time of purchase. Previously viewed prices via cookies on your computer will not be honoured and requests to do so will be refused. Sale prices are available only while stocks last.

CONFIRMATION OF order

  • For orders placed in store, you will be asked to sign the order confirmation or receipt to confirm that the items and colors order match your requirements. 
  • 50% deposit and 50% Strictly Cash on Delivery or pick up.
  • Deposit are not refundable.  Order cancellations will result in 100% loss of the deposited amount.
  • Changes to the order:  The management reserves the right to refuse a request from the client to make changes to the order if: the changes to the original order result in a sale of lesser value; if the items originally agreed upon had to be specifically ordered; if the items in the original order have been reserved for a period 7 days; or any other situation that the company deems to be unfavourable or potentially unfavourable.

 

OUR REFUND, EXCHANGE AND RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from Baby and Child. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we offer a 30 day returns policy where you can return any unused item(s), in its original packaging with tags still attached, provided that it is in a perfect condition.  This right does not apply on  personalized orders that where ordered for a period of time and items ordered specifically for you.

CONDITIONS

  • Applicable to in store purchases;
  • The product must not have been used and must be returned to us in a saleable condition and in its original, undamaged packaging with all tags still attached;
  • Exchanges will be provided to a product of your choice, to the original purchase price where a  receipt or gift receipt confirmation is provided. Any price increase should be paid at the time of exchange and any price decrease will be refunded to the original form of payment;
  • Delivery charges will not be refunded;
  • Should you opt not to exchange the product on the same day you can get the refund in voucher of €10.00, €20.00, €50.00 and €100.00 and add cash to the closest voucher.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Products discounted in-store as a sale item, these products are non-refundable.
  • Items ordered specifically for you or reserved for a period of time are not refundable.

installation charges

For assembled furniture – Charges vary from €15.00 to €150.00 per items depends on which items we are to install.

Trike’s and BO car charges – Charges vary from €5.00 to €15.00 per items depends on which item you are to purchase. 

Return money on Installation is not refundable.

YOUR MANUFACTURING GUARANTEE

  • 2 Years: All new products by presentation of fiscial receipts

Where your product is covered by our guarantee against manufacturing defect, we will at our discretion provide one of the following free of charge:

  • Spare, repair or replacement;
  • Replacement self fit part. Instructions will be provided where required;
  • A repair carried out by one of our experienced technicians at our Service Centre;
  • A replacement where the product is deemed irreparable.

This guarantee is subject to the following conditions and exclusions

CONDITIONS

  • Product must be purchased from the Baby and Child website, or from one of our stores;
  • Original store/gift receipt or email order confirmation must be provided;
  • The guarantee applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred with ownership of the product i.e. second hand purchases;
  • Where a particular model, colour, fabric or accessory has been discontinued we may have no alternative but to replace with an equivalent product, colour or fabric.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Clothing, Fabric / tyres / PVC of pushchairs, strollers, travel systems, buggies, car seats, highchairs and other equipment;
  • Batteries and chargers;
  • Where incorrect assembly occurs or use of non-recommended parts, or third party accessories not compatible with original design are used;
  • General wear and tear;
  • Accidental damage including airline damage;
  • Damage caused by non-domestic use, abuse, neglect or by not being used and cared for in accordance with our instructions;
  • Corrosion or rust on the wheels or chassis due to extreme environmental conditions, including high humidity and Salt and abrasive cleaning materials and products.
  • Improper storage of the product;
  • Customer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of disliking the weight, functionality, colour or style etc;
  • Fabric fading, discoloration or wearing due to laundering and general wear and tear;
  • If a product is adapted or modified;
  • Products which are repaired by an unauthorised repair agent.

Any replacement part or repair of any product will not extend the original guarantee period. Any product provided by way of replacement or exchange of the product originally purchased will be guaranteed for the remainder of the guarantee period applicable to the original product. Where store/gift receipt or email order confirmation cannot be provided Baby and Child (Falcar group) reserve the right to assess the condition of a product and determine whether it falls within the scope of the guarantee.

In the event a product is outside of your guarantee period we will endeavour to repair or replace parts subject to availability at an additional charge.

Nothing in this guarantee will affect your legal rights if the product is faulty.

 

These are Falcar Online Store Terms and Conditions of sale to which all online purchases are subject. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without notice. Any changes will take effect when posted on this website. By using this website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. The Contract

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between us (Falcar Ltd) and you, (the customer), will take place when the goods have been paid for by you and the order collected by you.

Any contract resulting from the purchase of a product from www.falcar.com will be executed & concluded in English language.

Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by Falcar of your order.

In the event that there are any errors regarding price or description, we reserve the right to notify you as soon as possible and give you the options to proceed with this revised order at the correct price/description, or to cancel the order. In these circumstances, upon cancellation, your credit/debit card will be refunded in full.

1b. Price Information

The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Falcar Online store. On occasions, the prices payable and promotions offered online may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in Falcar stores. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion that differs from those online. Similarly, Falcar stores are under no obligation to honour any online price or promotion that differs from the in-store price.

Where the (In-store Price) is listed, this refers to the current price in Falcar stores.

Special Offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online.

All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.

All prices are shown in € Euro and include V.A.T. where appropriate.

If an administrative error has resulted in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct that price and notify you accordingly. In these circumstances, it will be deemed that a contract has not been entered into and you will not be bound to continue with your purchase. You will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the correct price, however, should you choose not to do so, your monies will be refunded to your credit/debit card in full. The repayment of such monies paid to us will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of pricing errors.

All orders placed on Falcar.com are subject to stock availability and to the validation checks described in section 4 below. Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist until payment has been received. When payment has been received the goods will be prepared for collection at your chosen store. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you.

2. Deposits

Deposits are non- refundable. A deposit is a payment made to Falcar Ltd by a consumer which indicates an intention to buy a particular product or a specified service. When you pay a deposit for goods a contract is created between you as a consumer, and Falcar Ltd as the supplier of the product or service. 

3. Payment

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards.

We regret that we are unable to accept payment by cheque, cash, Falcar Gift Vouchers, or any other form of payment other than credit or debit cards when purchasing online.

Paypal will be a Payment Method but is currently not available as a payment method on Falcar.com.

4. Validation Checks

All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay on your order.

In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Falcar will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process. A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Falcar.com website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process an order or we may be unable to accept your order. All information provided will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.

5. Liability

The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. After-sales Service and Guarantees

Where applicable, details of manufacturers guarantees or service arrangements will be provided with the product. After sales service and warranty/guarantee claims will initially be dealt with by your local Falcar store.

7.Restrictions.

Where a person attempts to buy goods where minimum age limits apply, the contract will be deemed void where the individual is below the required age limit.

8. Complaints and Queries

If you are not happy with any aspect of our online service, discover a fault with our website, or if you have any queries or comments relating to an order placed online, please contact us and we will do everything we can to help you.

Your access to the Falcar website may occasionally be restricted to allow for the introduction of new products or features, site development, maintenance or repairs. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.

9. Unwanted Goods.

If you decide that you do not want any item that you have received, we are happy to offer you an exchange provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the receipt (as proof of purchase).

Discounts granted from the company are non transferable.

Items purchased with a discount can be exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase.  The exact value of the sale will be credited to the client, however, the  original discount is non transferable to the exchanged items. 

 

 

 

 

 

Personalised products, installed products, and made-to-order products cannot be returned unless faulty.

Please note: Satellite Navigation systems/units also CANNOT be returned to stores unless they are returned complete in all their original packaging, with ALL security seals still intact. Items returned without proof of purchase may only be exchanged at the discretion of Falcar Ltd.

For faulty items, we will, upon receipt of the product, examine it or we may have to return it to the manufacturer for examination. We aim to get a replacement product, arrange a repair, or refund your money as soon as possible.

Promotional items: When returning items that were purchased online as part of a Buy One, Get One Free offer, Buy One, Get One Half Price offer, 3 for 2 offer, or a Buy , Get a Free offer, all of the items involved in the offer must be returned.

We will endeavour to process returns as quickly as possible, taking into account that they may need to be returned to the manufacturer.

10. Colours, Specifications, Weights & Sizes

Representations of colour online are as accurate as our photographic and electronic processes will allow. Please note that colour online can also be affected by the calibrations of different output devices.

Any weights and size information that we supply is as a guide only and are approximate.

11. Safe Shopping Guarantee

We have used every effort to ensure that shopping on the Internet with Falcar is as safe as purchasing by card in a regular Falcar store. Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information sent over the Internet. In processing your order, your information may have to be sent over the Internet more than once. At no point is your order information sent in this way without encryption.

Although we endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the complete security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing personal information and dealing online over the Internet and Falcar cannot be held responsible for any breach of security unless it is due to our negligence.
